Its thick consistency can be worked onto any hard-shell surface using a soft brush to create low water creeks and water depressions. Dries to a high gloss clear finish! Use on wet rocks, in stream beds, waterfalls, on swimmers and boaters! Apply to water gel to achieve the 'glisten' of wet water! Gives everything a shinny wet look.
INSTRUCTIONS: Brush the water gloss over the depression bottom or between the stones in a calm-flowing stream. With a soft brush push the gloss medium around the depression surface to make subtle waves and ripples.
TO MODEL FAST CASCADING WATER: A dental pick can be used to stipple the gloss medium to produce a faster-moving, livelier water surface. Pile the gloss medium all around the backs of rocks and draw it out and around them. For higher waves and more turbulent water or ripples, allow first layer to dry, then add acrylic water gel (PT0146-4 oz. or PT0147-16oz. or PT0148-32oz.). You can change the appearance by sanding away the dried wave tops and applying a new layer of gloss medium. Last, gloss medium can also be tinted with acrylic paints (i.e. blue for fresh water, brown for murky, muddy water and white for frothy white water peaks!). Lightly brush white paint behind the rocks to make a great-looking foam!
